To make Launch Center Pro a lightning quick launcher, we decided to use a swipe gesture for groups. Just tap on a group, then slide your finger to the action you want to launch.

 

Also, it helps to organize groups so that your finger doesn't hide important actions. Though after using the gesture a few times, muscle memory sets in and you don't even have to look at the screen.
