Getting started with Group Text+

Welcome to Group Text+! It was designed to make it easy to message the people you care about using iMessage and SMS.

To start off, we'll configure your most-used contacts:

  1. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner
  2. Tap the green "Add Contacts" button
  3. Begin typing a contact's name
  4. Select the row with their phone number
  5. Tap "Next" in the top-right corner
  6. We'll default to using first names, but you can use whatever name you'd like here
  7. Tap "Done" in the top-right corner

Repeat for another contact. You will now have two contacts. Only want to send a message to one? Tap their circle, then "Compose". Want to create an impromptu group message? Tap both of them, then "Compose"!

Pictures & Text

You can easily take a quick picture to send along by tapping "Camera", search for a funny GIF to send by tapping "GIF", sending a photo that's already on your clipboard by tapping "Clipboard", or scroll to the right to see more pictures from your Camera Roll. Tap as many pictures as you want here and we'll send 'em all!

We can attach a link to your current location, send the contents of your clipboard, or send the song you're currently listening to in the Music app. You can also configure snippets to send when you're in a hurry. We've provided 3 to start you off. To add more:

  1. Tap the "Edit" button in the top-right corner
  2. Scroll down and tap "Add New Text Snippet"
  3. Type your snippet
  4. Tap "Done" in the top-right corner

You can add more contacts to choose from anytime. Know a group you'll always be sending to? After you've selected your first contact's phone number, keep adding more!

Found something in another iOS app you want to send to your friends, family, or coworkers? You can share it straight from that app to as many people you want using the Group Text+ share extension! We think you'll find it very handy.
